Welcome to AlgaeCal’s countdown of the best posts from this year.

We combed through our site to discover which were the most popular posts with our readers. And we have narrowed it down to the top 5!

After reviewing them I can see why they landed on top — especially my favorite one (hint: it features 2 bone-protecting exercises).

Let’s dive in now!

The Inaugural Bone Health Companion Newsletter

“Very excited to receive ‘Bone Health Companion’ —  what a great newsletter! Thank you AlgaeCal! Your continued support is so appreciated!” – Debra Johnson

We launched the inaugural edition of our Bone Health Companion newsletter in August. This newsletter is a bone-building resource that’s designed to keep you in the know on all things bone health, inspire you on your bone health journey, and offer a little fun too. And as you can tell by Debra’s comment, it was well-received!

In the August edition, you’ll discover AlgaeCal’s founding story, a healthy, protein-rich dessert, a fun crossword puzzle— and much more.

You have given us all a vision of what is possible through all of your hard work and dedication to helping the rest of us!” – Jan Donop

After many months of planning, we announced the formation of AlgaeCal’s Scientific Advisory Board in December— to the delight of Jan Donop and many other readers. Our board includes the bone-health industry’s leading researchers, doctors, authors, and innovators.

They’ll share high-quality, research-backed, practical bone health advice and information on topics ranging from exercise… to nutrition… to the science of bone health… and more.

What is Bone Breathing? (+2 guided exercises)

At AlgaeCal, we love sharing exercises to help you improve your bone health.

So, this year our fitness lead Cat created two short, guided breathing exercises to help you reduce stress and protect your bones. These exercises are based on the ancient Taoist technique of “bone breathing” and only take 2-minutes a day.

Readers loved how easy these exercises were!

Our Delicious Steak and Zucchini Noodles Recipe

Simple, delicious, and full of bone-building goodness — that sums up our Steak and Zucchini Noodles recipe.

This meal is easy to make and provides plenty of bone-supporting protein.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, this recipe was the first created in the new AlgaeCal Bone Health Kitchen! That means the follow-along video has a new look and feel. You seemed to like it!

Doris’ Inspirational Bone Health Journey

Every single video message we receive from folks on their bone-health journeys with AlgaeCal warms my heart to no end.

But there was one in particular that really inspired and encouraged AlgaeCal readers. It was the uplifting story of Doris Fundora.

In 2016, her doctor told her she had severe bone loss. But Doris was determined not to give up her active lifestyle.

I have been taking Algaecal plus and Strontium boost for about a year and when I retook my Dexa Scan my spine had improved 10 points and my arms 6. My Dr. wanted me to go on a medicine as he said if I was 25 then this would work but I was too old being 85 to see a quick increase. He was wrong-as I improved my spine and arms by taking the Algaecal plus and strontium boost. I tell everyone that is having a problem with osteopena etc. It is amazing. Also, the story about the calcium that is included not being ground up rock but from the ocean is amazing. I also want to say that any questions that you have are addressed and the company analized my scans for me. Give it a try you will see amazing results.
