Kathryn Straub - Seattle, WA
Hi, my name is Catherine Straub, and I am 62 years old. I wanted to share my story of using the AlgaeCal supplement.
I recently had gone for a physical and found out I had significant bone loss. Significant. I have a history of low bone density in my family. My grandma had the big hump on her back and was like four feet nothing. My mom also was getting the hump on her back, so my doctors told me from a very young age this was going to be something that I was going to have to contend with. My doctors did routine bone density tests at a very young age, much younger than most people would have, because of my family history.
By the time I was 59, I had dropped significantly into the red zone, as they like to call it, on my bone density test. It wasn't a good thing, and they were wanting to put me on a prescription drug for bone density. But I wasn't really a fan, especially considering how young I was. I was going to have to be on it for so long. I told them I would like to try using supplements instead first.
I found AlgaeCal on Instagram, and I decided it was worth the chance. It was worth it. I had nothing to lose at that point, so I started taking it back when I was 59, and I didn't get my next bone density test until 62. This was just last November.
When I got the test results, I was hoping just to maintain. I would have been perfectly happy with not losing any more bone density, but I was shocked when I got my test back. The test said my lumbar spine had increased 8.6%. I thought I was reading it wrong. I had to reread it. It was amazing. My hip had increased 1.2% for an overall change of 2%. It said right on there that this is considered statistically significant. I was thrilled. I couldn't believe it. Even the doctor wanted to know what I was doing.
It's been fantastic. I tell everybody I know about it. I can tell you I feel better. I feel great. I'm 62, and I feel like I'm reversing the aging process. It's been absolutely wonderful. I tell everyone I know, and I wanted to share this. So, thank you.
