Your Brain Could Be Weakening Your Bones

Updated: December 1, 2025

See how your thoughts, emotions, and stress levels can impact your bone health.

Think your bones are only affected by calcium and exercise? Think again.

Because what’s happening in your mind could be quietly draining your bone strength, day after day, without you even realizing it.

In this eye-opening interview, Dr. Sandra Scheinbaum reveals the powerful (and surprising) link between your brain, stress, and bone health. For over 30 years, she’s taught people how thoughts, emotions, and even breathing patterns can trigger inflammation, accelerate aging, and weaken bones.

And more importantly,  how to flip that switch back.

In this must-watch video:

  • The common thought pattern that drains minerals from your bones. Plus, the simple habit that can quickly shift your brain into healing mode.
  • The fascinating “garden hose” experiment that proves stress lives in your cells, not just your mind.
  • Scared of lifting heavy weights? See the mindset block that keeps women weak, and how Dr. Sandra overcame it at 75.
  • The nutrition-mood connection you’ve never heard of. See how what you eat affects your nervous system, sleep, and even bone density.
  • Want stronger bones? Change your language! Learn how swapping just one word can support better bone health.

These aren’t abstract ideas. They’re backed by decades of research and thousands of real-world transformations. Watch now to see how your thoughts shape your bones, and how to make that connection work for you.

Thankyou so much for this very informative video. I like so many others are always down on myself. Thinking in defeating ways. And now this reminds me to think positive and build up my confidence and self esteem and how that is just as important to health, as good healthy food and habits and proper exercise and good sleep. We all need to give ourselves a good pep talk and learn to say “hello sunshine” every morning and learn to control our stress and simply enjoy life and make lemonade when life throws lemons at us. You are sometimes the statute and not the pigeon, but by thinking positive we can fly and not just be let ourselves be dumped on.
