Hi, my name is Andrea Johannessen and I've just recently turned 70 years old.
I got my first DEXA scan in 2019 which showed severe bone loss, and my doctor wanted to refer me to get an infusion, which I was, I didn't feel too comfortable about that. And I have known about AlgaeCal so I started taking AlgaeCal in 2019 and have been taking it religiously since then. My first DEXA scan was in 2019 and I recently just had my second DEXA scan just this September 2021. Let me give you a few readings of my lumbar spine in 2019 was -2.9 and now it's -2.0. My femoral neck in 2019 was -2.7 and now it's -2.4. And my hip in 2019 was -2.4 and now it's -2.1, a significant improvement, and I'm just so elated and so happy that I didn't have to go the infusion route, which I, as I said, I just did not feel comfortable. My doctor was even impressed, saying that I have improved in all areas, so that's a wonderful, wonderful thing. And I'm just so grateful to have AlgaeCal on my side to help me with my bone density situation, and I'm hoping to improve too. So thank you so much AlgaeCal.
