Terry Witkowski - Hurricane, Utah
Hi everyone, I'm Terry Witkowski and I'm so happy to share my AlgaeCal journey with you this far. I turned 69 in May of 2020. I tried to eat healthy, but that's not always the case. I am hypothyroid and I've been on thyroid replacement for 45 years. After double knee replacements in 2011 and several other surgeries over the next eight years including a hip replacement in June of 2019. I then got proactive in fixing my health, I did a lot of homework and everything kept coming back to AlgaeCal. My last three DEXA scans over the past six years have shown a consistent decrease in my bone density. My worst one in May of 2019 showed my spine at -3.4. This year's DEXA scan in June of 2020 was after nine and a half months on the AlgaeCal program, it was -3.0, that's a change of plus 6.3%. I brought the AlgaeCal information sheet and the triple power pamphlet and then I told my doctor, this is what I'm doing. And she looked at them and she said, "I don't see any reason why not to try it." I'm going to work harder with my diet and exercise to assist this program in helping me to improve as much as I can. I try to walk and use a recumbent bike three to four times a week. I also use barbell weights when I think about it. I thank God for having AlgaeCal pop up on my Facebook about a year ago. I loved the encouragement along the way from this family and all the shared successes. I would like to encourage anyone who is on this journey or considering it, that these products really do work. I'm proof and so are so many other people just like us. Don't be hard on yourself if you don't think you're doing things perfectly, I didn't and yet I improved. The support group has been so amazing, everyone is always so helpful and concerned for each other. But of course it starts at the top, Lara, Cat, Megan and all the rest of these folks are so patient, courteous and thorough with their answers. Lara is so great, how she can talk to us and help us understand any of our questions and concerns. AlgaeCal, keep up the outstanding work. We all need you! Thank you.
